Polly Gannon holds a Ph.D. in Russian Literature and Slavic Linguistics from Cornell University and has been teaching writing, literature, and translation studies for many years, both in the US and abroad. She’s at home in many cities, including Amsterdam, Helsinki, Berlin, Nashville, Ithaca, and St. Petersburg.

Polly is also an avid quilter and textile artist.
